With a total investment of 200 million yuan ($29.06 million), Sam's Club is set to open a two-story store and a 23-story commercial building in Wenzhou, a coastal city in East China's Zhejiang province.
Construction will begin in June, with the pile foundation construction to be completed first, followed by construction on the basement.
The complex will cover an area of 2.86 hectares, with an indoor space of 127,800 square meters.
Sam's Club is a global membership warehouse club boasting a history of 40 years. The first Sam's Club in China was opened in Shenzhen, South China's Guangdong province on Aug, 1996. Sam's Club has multiple clubs in China, located in cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hangzhou and Suzhou.
