Tania and her son Savva from Russia recently visited Shabu village in Xunzhai town, Yongjia county, where they made vegetarian noodles, picked fruit and walked in the mountains.
In this video, we will follow in their footsteps as they learn about the leisurely lifestyle of local residents.
Xunzhai town is located in the northwest of Yongjia, at the upper reaches of the Nanxi River. In Shabu village, locals have been making Shamian Noodle since ancient times, and they are famous for being as thin as silver threads.
Kuzhu Tofu, a local specialty which is popular online, is as thin as paper and delicious, while Xunzhai Roasted Goose features a unique smoky flavor, oily taste and firm meat.
Tania and Savva learned to make vegetarian noodles from a local woman in the early morning, picked fruit with villagers, and shared a delicious dinner with them in the evening.
"Such a leisurely lifestyle is like a refreshing breeze which brushes away the vexations of daily life," Tania said.
