Everyone loves islands, yearning for the vast ocean, blue sky, golden sand, and dreamy sunset. Johnny, a photographer from the United States, is no exception. He recently sent a special gift to his family on the other side of the planet – a postcard he made himself about the island scenery of Dongtou district in Wenzhou.
Having lived in Wenzhou for six years, Johnny enjoys walking through streets and alleys with his camera and recording the city from his unique perspective. The photos presented on the postcard were taken by Johnny this summer.
"The soft sand, sea breeze, and long seaside walkway let me truly feel the charm of the numerous islands in Dongtou," Johnny said.
"I've taken a lot of photos of Wenzhou. In addition to making postcards, I hope to open my own photography exhibition, small scale of its kind, and have more opportunities to exchange and share with others."
