The Wenzhou Olympic Sports Center Stadium, one of the three competition venues in Wenzhou for the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022, will host the men's and women's football group matches on six days between Sept 7 to 16.
The Wenzhou Olympic Sports Center, located in Longwan district, is the most expensive such facility to ever be built in Wenzhou.
The venue, which is shaped like a sailing ship when viewed from the side, also boasts the third-largest seating capacity in Zhejiang province at 50,000, and features a variety of cutting-edge technologies and designs ranging from an illumination system to natural pitches.
The stadium, adhering to the concept of "green, smart, economical and convenient" facilities, meets the requirements of both the Asian Games and the daily recreational and sporting needs of local residents.
