The Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, which was held in Beijing from Nov 8 to 11, has struck a chord among Wenzhou natives across the globe, local media outlets reported.
Chen Xiaomin, an outstanding female entrepreneur who has won the national honorary title of a "woman pace-setter", said she was inspired by the Session to rally female entrepreneurs to keep up with the times, brave the challenges, and shoulder more social responsibilities so as to seek the goal of achieving common prosperity.
Ye Wenwen, a civil servant at the local government affairs service center, said she would follow the principle of always putting people first, sharpen her skills, and let the public feel the sincerity and warmth of her services.
Chen Yuanliu, an experienced researcher at the School of Mechanical Engineering of Zhejiang University, said he resonated about building self-reliance on science and technology. He thought domestic scientists and researchers should take the initiative in innovation and development and strive to make breakthroughs in key and core technologies.
Cai Jianlin, chairman of the Wenzhou Chamber of Commerce in the Russian Far East, said he and the vast majority of overseas Chinese have been benefiting from China's development led by CPC and he is confident that the country is more capable than ever before of realizing the goal of national rejuvenation.
Li Chang, a tour guide at the memorial park of the First Congress of the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee, said that as an interpreter at the red tourism spot, she had the responsibility to promote the Party's history as well as the spirit of achieving prosperity through diligent work.
