The efforts made by Longwan district, Wenzhou in deepening overseas exchanges have yielded recently with a group of over expats and overseas Chinese joining hands with the government to promote local culture, Xinhuanet reported.
The expats and overseas Chinese carried out a variety of cultural activities, including livestreaming classes, hosting short videos, and sharing their living and working experiences, which attracted more than 4 million online visitors through various overseas media platforms.
During the activities, foreign anchors guided online visitors to renowned local tourist spots, explored intangible cultural heritages, and even got to taste authentic local flavors. Foreign experts who were invited by the local government to work in the city also shared their working experiences and entrepreneurial stories.
