Ten companies from Wenzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, made it to the list of top 100 Zhejiang privately-owned enterprises in 2021, which was released by the provincial authorities on Sept 23.
The total operating revenue of the listed companies reached 823.34 billion yuan ($127.41 billion), a year-on-year increase of 12.03 percent, while their net profits increased 29.41 percent year-on-year to 34.23 billion yuan.
The investments into research and development as well as technological reform by these companies amounted to nearly 8 billion yuan in 2020, a year-on-year increase of 15.26 percent.
Tsingshan Holding Group retained third place while Vanyang Group and Duofu Group made the list for the first time.
