Lin Dexian, a native of Wenzhou city in East China's Zhejiang province, is president of San Francisco-based ABLE International Group Inc. In 1981, Lin went to the United States to establish a trading company, which engaged in the import and export business and then entered the local real estate industry.
He served as executive vice president of the New York Chinese Association Federation in 1990, which consists of 180 associations. In 2000, he was elected as president of the American Zhejiang Association Federation. In 2012, Wenzhou entrepreneurs in Los Angeles joined with the Wenzhou Chamber of Commerce in Southern California to establish the Los Angeles Wenzhou General Chamber of Commerce. Lin served as its honorary president.
