Feng Dingxian is the current president of the Wenzhou Overseas Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, as well as honorary president and chairman of the German Chinese Association Federation. He is a public-spirited person and in 2007 Feng was awarded the European star of civil and military devotion medal.
