Lishui enterprises ramp up production for increasing demand
In Zhejiang Jinbang Sports Equipment Co's factory, batches of automatic scooters were prepared on Feb 21 for shipment to Australia, France, and other countries, having been assembled, tested, and packaged.
Resuming work after the Spring Festival holiday, companies in Jinyun county, Lishui, Zhejiang province have ramped up production to meet soaring demand.
"Our self-driving scooters are highly favored by overseas consumers, and production orders are currently booked until the end of May," said Ying Weisheng, general manager of Zhejiang Jinbang Sports Equipment Co.

In recent years, Jinyun county has focused on the smart short-distance transportation sector, expanding its market reach. The county has developed a comprehensive industry value chain that includes electric bicycles, electric scooters, balance bikes, all-terrain vehicles, and racing motorcycles.
Currently, the county hosts over 20 enterprises in the smart short-distance transportation sector, with an output value nearing 7 billion yuan ($964.03 million).
Zhejiang Zhengda Mould Co specializing in high-speed steel, has tackled technical challenges in the specialized steel field, achieving high-end import substitution. This year, the company has already secured orders worth over 30 million yuan, with production scheduled until May.
"We plan to attract more technical talent this year and innovate to reduce costs and increase efficiency, thereby enhancing our core competitiveness," said Lyv Rong, deputy general manager of Zhejiang Zhengda Mould Co.
