An electric vehicle charging station went online in Liandu district, Lishui, on Nov 28, becoming the largest and most comprehensive charging station in the city.
Covering an area of 2,200 square meters, the station features 40 fast-charging piles including two liquid-cooled ultra-fast charging piles. The photovoltaic carport at the station produces an expected annual power generation of 200,000 kilowatt-hours, or approximately 4,000 vehicles.
With DC charging, the fast-charging piles can fully charge a compact car in about 30 minutes, while the liquid-cooled, ultra-fast-charging piles can charge over 80 percent in just 8 minutes.
Considering 10 percent of the charging piles being used per day, even at full capacity, the station can still meet the charging needs of approximately 46 new energy vehicles per hour.
The station is complemented by facilities where drivers can rest, wash their cars, grab a snack, or access postal services.
The charging station calculates fees in real-time based on the current electricity prices, ensuring transparency and accuracy throughout the process.
