Lishui's intelligent short-distance transportation industry goes overseas

Zhejiang Zuma Moto Co from Jinyun county, Lishui, participated in the International Two-Wheeler Exhibition 2024 in Milan, Italy, and reached cooperation agreements with European clients, according to Tide News on Nov 27.

Since entering the Intelligent Short-Distance Transportation Industry Park in Jinyun county in 2023, the company has reached 150 million yuan ($20.70 million) in export sales this year. Within the industry park, products like electric bicycles, electric scooters, and racing motorcycles are transported to Ningbo Port bound for overseas markets.

According to Lishui Customs, from January to October, the export value of Jinyun's intelligent short-distance transportation products amounted to 4.90 billion yuan, which was a 59.76 percent year-on-year increase and accounted for 48.06 percent of the county's total export value.

"Our company has over 40 patents, with key components, like the frame, independently developed and modeled. We are currently applying for EEC certification in Europe," said Cheng Min, the foreign trade manager of Zhejiang Zuma Moto Co.

According to Zhang Jiahong, chairman of Zhejiang Jiahong Sports Equipment Co, a new factory is under construction in Jinyun equipped with more than 300 industrial robots, creating an intelligent and automated production line capable of producing 500,000 electric-assist bicycles annually.

Jinyun currently boasts 22 enterprises in intelligent short-distance transportation, with a total output of nearly 7 billion yuan and a number of leading enterprises emerging.
