A story about the Zhucunfan village in Suichang county, Lishui, Zhejiang province, was shared at the Digital Empowerment and Common Prosperity Demonstration Zone Exhibition on Nov 19, during the 2024 World Internet Conference.
"In Lishui, there are over 200 vacant villages with reusable resources and tens of thousands of vacant farmhouses," said Pan Dongming, chairman of Zhejiang Ganjie Electronic Commerce Co.
Led by Lishui municipal development and reform commission, Zhejiang Ganjie Electronic Commerce Co and nine other companies, established the "Zheli Rural Customization" platform.
This platform unites idle, rural farmhouses and other resources, using a combination of online and offline customization models to connect urban investors directly with high-quality rural resources via the internet.
"As a comprehensive platform for rural resources, the platform aims to become the leading platform for rural resource transactions in China, enhancing the value of rural areas," Pan said.
The platform has currently listed 1,700 projects, 200 of which are from rural investments. By leveraging live streaming and short videos to promote high-quality resources, it attracts inquiries from 60 to 70 investment institutions daily.
The operational model of the platform has expanded to regions such as Hubei, Jiangxi, and Beijing in collaboration with local governments.
