Lishui's Loong Works, a cross-border digital trade industrial base, officially opened in the Lishui Economic and Technological Development Zone on Oct 29.
The base is expected to generate a cumulative export volume of no less than 6 billion yuan ($842.85 million) over the next five years and plans to host various cross-border e-commerce summits and trade events, train talents in foreign trade, and help Lishui enterprises further expand into international markets.
Lishui's Loong Works is a cross-border e-commerce industrial complex jointly created by the Lishui Economic and Technological Development Zone and DinoDirect China Ltd.
DinoDirect has already established cross-border digital trade service centers, overseas warehouses, and exhibitions in multiple countries and regions involved in the Belt and Road Initiative, with a platform transaction volume of approximately 250 billion yuan.
During the launch ceremony, Lishui's Loong Works signed strategic cooperation agreements with overseas companies such as Storm Gayrimenkul from Turkiye and State Corps Inc from Afghanistan, promoting the export of precision components and other products.
"The base will provide comprehensive cross-border trade services such as product supply chains, talent, and logistics to support the transformation and upgrading of traditional Lishui enterprises," said a representative from Lishui's Loong Works.
