Lishui's GDP up 6.5 percent in first three quarters
According to data from Lishui municipal statistics bureau, Lishui's GDP for the first three quarters of the year reached 148.25 billion yuan ($20.81 billion), marking a year-on-year increase of 6.5 percent at constant prices.
This growth rate is 1.7 percentage points higher than the national average and 1.1 percentage points higher than the Zhejiang provincial average.
Agricultural production remained stable and industrial production showed strong growth. The service sector experienced steady growth, and the added value of the service sector grew by 6 percent year-on-year, contributing 53.1 percent to the city's economic growth.
Fixed asset investment increased by 10.3 percent year-on-year in the first three quarters. As for key areas, investment in ecological and environmental protection, transportation, energy, and water conservancy surged by 45.4 percent, infrastructure investment grew by 31.6 percent, and industrial investment by 24.9 percent.
Consumer spending continued to reach its full potential, with the total retail sales of consumer goods reaching 67.44 billion yuan in the first three quarters, up 7 percent year-on-year.
The per capita disposable income of all residents was 38,315 yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.1 percent. The consumer price index for urban residents in Lishui rose by 0.3 percent year-on-year.
