Over 20 Longquan celadon companies and studios from Lishui, Zhejiang province, showcased their creations at the China Xiamen International Tea Industry Fair 2024 (Autumn Edition) from Oct 10 to 14.

The fair's teaware exhibition area featured hundreds of renowned brands, with Longquan celadon artisans conspicuously pairing the artistry of Longquan celadon with Chinese tea culture, both recognized as national intangible cultural heritage items.

More than two-thirds of these artisans opted for premium booths, transforming each space into an immersive tea culture experience. These exhibits highlighted Longquan celadon's unique Eastern aesthetics and rich cultural heritage, drawing significant attention from tea merchants and visitors.

"Teaware is a crucial part of the home goods market and a flagship product for Longquan celadon. This year's offerings are more diverse and align better with the aesthetic preferences of today's youth," said Huang Zhangwei, an arts and crafts expert.

Huang emphasized that the fair provides an excellent platform for promoting Longquan celadon and achieving its product and market upgrades.

Longquan, a county-level city in Lishui, offers subsidies based on booth area to help Longquan celadon companies expand their market presence.

Longquan Shangtang Porcelain Art Development Co not only arranged their display but also brought their live-streaming team to the venue, boosting online sales through immersive live broadcasts.
