Lishui University in Lishui, Zhejiang province, recently organized a social practice activity for 45 international students titled "Exploring Charming Lishui, Sensing Contemporary China".
The group of international students from over 20 countries, including Zimbabwe, Cote d'Ivoire, and Nigeria, visited the Lishui Urban Planning Exhibition Hall and Lishui Museum, where they explored the city's natural resources, humanistic history, and urban planning.
They were captivated by the harmonious coexistence of mountains, water, people, and urban spaces in Lishui.
At the Lishui Lishan Modern Agricultural Industry Base, the students had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the local culture by donning traditional She ethnic costumes and experiencing the traditional sports of "picking persimmons" of She ethnic group.
Interacting with the base's staff, they gained insights into agricultural intelligence, modernization, and sustainable development practices. The experience left the students inspired to share the beauty of Lishui and the story of China's development with a wider audience.
