The 16th Zhejiang International Traditional Wushu Competition will take place from July 12 to 14 in Lishui, Zhejiang province, as announced at a news conference held on July 2.

With 235 teams registered, including two from the United States and one from Spain, the event boasts a total of 5,280 participants. Over half of them are under 18 years old, according to Dai Chonggao, secretary-general of the competition's organizing committee.

The competition will be held in Lishui Sports Park, the newest, most versatile, and largest sports venue in Lishui.

The first "Urban Better Life Festival" of Lishui Sports Park will run alongside the competition, offering a diverse range of activities.

The festival will feature outdoor sports equipment displays, coffee tastings, specialty food exhibitions, and more, transforming the event into a cultural celebration.
