A cultural event celebrating China's rich heritage was held at the China Cultural Center in Moscow, Russia, from June 18 to 19, local time.

The event featured Zhejiang province's cultural treasures, including Song Dynasty (960-1279) tea whisking, tea tasting, Hangzhou embroidery, and Longquan celadon.

Li Qiaoqiang, a master of arts and crafts, was present to promote Longquan celadon culture by displaying six exquisite pieces from the Longquan kiln and demonstrating his exceptional skill in pottery wheel throwing.

Li also provided hands-on guidance to the audience, teaching them how to knead clay and use the pottery wheel, allowing them to experience the joy of creating Longquan celadon up close.

Longquan celadon is one of China's earliest global commodities. From the 12th to the 15th century, it became a major export along the Maritime Silk Road, gaining worldwide popularity.

Nowadays, Longquan authorities use celadon as a cultural bridge to integrate into the Belt and Road Initiative. They have hosted six World Celadon Conferences, established display corners in countries along the Belt and Road such as Spain and South Korea, and organized exhibitions in over 20 regions along the initiative's route.
