The Zhejiang Boweizhouyu Technology Company from Yunhe county, Lishui, Zhejiang province is transforming the wooden toy industry by generating unique designs with the help of AI tools.

"Clients provide us with ideas, and then we convert the key information into preliminary design schemes using writing and drawing AI tools," explained Zhang Siming, head of the company.

Zhang Siming, a former fund manager working in Shanghai, relocated to Yunhe with his wife in 2019 to engage in e-commerce sales of wooden toys, after recognizing Yunhe's cost advantages and the competitiveness of its environmentally friendly wooden toys.

Strong sales of the wooden pet toys on e-commerce platforms encouraged the couple to conduct deeper explorations of domestic and foreign markets. Later, the advent of the artificial intelligence system ChatGPT provided them with inspiration for the idea of personalized customization and intelligent design.

The couple improved pigment quality and printing accuracy to give their wooden toys a competitive edge. Through AI design, they produced custom, exclusive wooden toys for their company. This refined ability to turn customer's needs into physical products leads them toward the forefront of intelligent manufacturing.

"I hope to establish an AI-empowered wooden toy processing center in Yunhe, which will create new quality productive forces to improve the output value of Yunhe's wooden toy industry," envisioned Zhang.
