Lishui has been transformed into a spectacle to behold, with over 2,000 mu (133.33 hectares) of wild bauhinia flowers bursting into bloom, heralding the arrival of spring.

Located along Jinshan Mountain in the Lishui Economic Development Zone, the blooming bauhinia flowers offer an early glimpse of spring.

Throughout March, the hillsides of Jinshan Mountain will be adorned with these exquisite blooms, creating a mesmerizing panorama of pink and purple across the landscape.

To enhance the visitor experience, renovations have been completed in key areas including the southern entrance of Jianshan Mountain, parking lots, and access roads, ensuring safe and convenient access. The completion of approximately 1.2 kilometers of promenade has further facilitated access to the mountains for flower viewing.

In a bid to share the allure of rural tourism with more individuals, Nanmingshan sub-district will host the 2nd Lishui Economic Development Zone Bauhinia Flower Festival in Liuhou village on March 22. Attendees can savor local countryside delicacies, partake in greenway walks, and revel in a myriad of activities including bauhinia flower viewing, ensuring an enriching experience for all.
