Chuanliao town in Qingtian county, Lishui, Zhejiang province held its inaugural Flower Festival on Mar 10, offering tourists a journey of beauty.

Spanning an area of more than four hectares, the blooming rape flowers of Hongfuqian village in the town stretch into a golden sea, inviting visitors to wander and capture moments in the sea of flowers.

Accompanied by a blowing breeze and lingering music, 12 women portraying 12 Chinese flower goddesses elegantly walked into the flower field, adorned in Hanfu — traditional Chinese clothing, adding a picturesque allure to the event.

"Osmanthus represents good luck and happiness. As we cruised in the rape flower field, the beauty of various flowers was showcased with the integration of traditional Chinese clothing and nature," said Du Yueyue, the actress portraying the "osmanthus flower goddesses" in a golden-yellow costume.

Beyond featuring the beauty of flowers, the event also presented a diverse array of activities, including a flower field concert, a fair of intangible cultural heritages, and a Hanfu cultural exhibition.

"I like Chinese culture very much, especially Chinese ancient costumes," exclaimed Hanfu enthusiast Yang Fang. She wore traditional Hanfu to visit the rape flower field, hoping to share the charm of traditional clothes and culture with more people.
