After the Spring Festival, enterprises in Suichang county, Lishui, Zhejiang province have advanced their post-festival resurgence. The Zhejiang Jiahe Bamboo Technology Company in Suichang has experienced a surge in foreign trade orders, indicating a promising start to the year.
The company's production facility is bustling with activity as workers are diligently engaged in various production processes. "Suichang's mao bamboo undergoes several processes in our workshops, including carbonization, drying, and pressing, before becoming finished products," explained Tao Haijian, head of the company's finished product workshop.
With the surge in foreign trade orders, production lines are operating at full capacity, and all products will be shipped abroad, added Tao.
Specializing in strand bamboo flooring, the company is a high-tech enterprise involved in research, development, manufacturing, and sales. Approximately 70 percent of the bamboo used in its production originates from Suichang, and the products are exported to over 60 countries across Europe, America, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
Despite its established success in international markets, the company remains proactive in developing new products and exploring new markets.
"We've been working on a new product recently. Catering to special requirements of some foreign customers, it is mainly used in landscapes on the beach," said Pan Xiangde, the company's deputy general manager. He added that the company has already commenced trial production for the new product.
