Library supports Lishui's two sessions
The Lishui Library in Zhejiang province recently provided comprehensive information services during the fourth session of the fifth Lishui People's Congress and the third session of the fifth Lishui Committee of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
To facilitate convenient access to library collections, the library has provided free card service for several years and this year it even brought this service online. Now in Lishui, a unified card allows unrestricted access to all libraries.
In addition to such traditional services, the library also rolled out several new services, including magazine drifting and a special exhibition of local literature, ensuring more comprehensive and helpful information consulting services during the two sessions.
It was the first time for the library to carry out this magazine drifting activity. Catering to various reading needs, more than 20 categories of magazines were selected for deputies and committee members to take away and read.
In order to create more targeted local literature resources with more local characteristics, the library held a special exhibition of local literature. More than 30 monographs on politics, economy and culture published in Lishui in recent years were exhibited, enabling deputies and committee members to better understand the city's situation.
Moving forward, Lishui Library plans to further enhance its specialized content and precise services to provide targeted and professional support for deputies and committee members, creating an exclusive "think tank" for the two sessions in Lishui.
