Qingtian enterprises gear up for post-Spring Festival resurgence
As the Spring Festival holiday draws to a close, enterprises in Qingtian county, Lishui, Zhejiang province are gearing up to resume operations, aiming for a robust start to the first quarter of 2024.
In the production workshops of the Zhejiang Tongpu Automatic Control Equipment Company in Qingtian's Wenxi town, the parts production lines are in full swing, with machines rumbling.
Chen Yizhang, manager of the company's research and development department, said, "Our company expects to resume work at 100 percent before the Lantern Festival (Feb 24). After that, we plan to start production with the orders left from the end of last year and at the beginning of this year."
In Wenxi town, a significant portion of local enterprises, 23 out of 58, have already resumed work, with the remainder expected to follow suit in an orderly manner.
The Weifeng Machinery Company in Chuanliao town is another example. Production lines in the company's workshops are operating at full capacity, and more than 50 employees have all reported to their positions.
"We continued the orders of last year. The order volume has increased compared with last year," said Wu Chuchu, the company's general manager.
Moreover, key projects in Qingtian have also resumed construction. The National Highway 330 reconstruction project ushered in the first day of resumption on Feb 19, with over 300 workers quickly returning to work.
