Warm helpline shines amidst cold snap

Facing a sudden temperature drop, the city service center in Lishui experienced an unprecedented surge in calls, peaking at over 2,500 daily, which is a 400-percent increase from the norm. 

Urgent pleas ranged from burst water pipes to malfunctioning heaters. The response team worked around the clock, swiftly dispatching technicians to address emergencies.

Amid bone-chilling conditions, plumbing technicians juggled dozens of repair orders daily, sacrificing breaks to ensure citizens' needs were met promptly. 

Anticipating the cold wave, the center organized preemptive meetings, adjusted shifts, and increased call center capacity, ensuring seamless service, with safety reminders disseminated through various channels, emphasizing consistent service quality without price hikes.

The commitment of service personnel, including hundreds of affiliated providers and volunteers, became a bright cityscape. Citizens lauded the unwavering dedication, expressing gratitude for the warmth extended during the cold spell.

As the repair orders soared, citizens were kindly reminded to bear with any delays in technician arrivals. The 96345 helpline exemplified a seamless response to citizens' needs in the cold.
