Lishui has clinched the sixth spot in the national rankings for their work in building a health city for the third consecutive year. 

The announcement comes from the National Health Commission's evaluation of 407 cities or districts.

Following the national sanitation and development principle, the municipal government seized the opportunity to construct a hygienic and healthy city. Notably, the city's consistent recognition as a model for health city reflects its commitment to making the city a big garden.

The city's achievements extend beyond rankings. It has actively promoted national health initiatives, improved the living environment, and expanded health education. 

It was also the sole city in Zhejiang province which was invited to share its experiences at the 2022 National Patriotic Health Movement Conference, earning commendation from the office of the National Patriotic Health Campaign Commission.

In addition to health accolades, Lishui excels in food safety, maintaining the top position in public satisfaction for 14 years. The city boasts a 94 percent qualification rate in national physical fitness monitoring.

The city leads in ecological endeavors, with a high forest coverage rate of 81.7 percent, and its ecological environment has consecutively topped the province for 19 years, earning it the title of National Ecological Civilization Construction Demonstration Zone from the Ministry of Ecology and Environment.

Lishui's multifaceted success reflects its commitment to elevate well-being in all aspects, maintaining its position as a national exemplar in health and environmental stewardship.
