The second Lishui Art Festival – which showcases the city's cultural charms – entered its final phase on Nov 4 in Lishui city in East China's Zhejiang province.
The last series of events will last for a month. Since April, the art festival has featured performances of music, dance, opera and other genres, attracting audiences from all walks of life.
The closing series of events is not only the climax of the festival but is also seen as being a catalyst for Lishui's cultural vitality, sparking the enthusiasm and passion of its citizens.
In the urban area, the Lishui Grand Theater and the Lishui Museum are among the venues that host key cultural events, along with seven other fixed activity points – forming a chain of artistic performances that boost the city with culture and art.
Beyond the urban area, the art festival has also reached other regions of Lishui, such as Jingning She autonomous county, Qingtian county and Qingyuan county.
In recent years, Lishui has implemented a strategy of bolstering the city with culture. What's more, it's developed the culture and art industries, expanded the channels of benefiting the people with culture – and made culture accessible and enjoyable.
