Faces of the Games| Lishui kayak athlete wins second gold medal at Asian Games

The Chinese women's kayak team – comprising Wang Nan, Li Dongyin, Yin Mengdie and Sun Yuewen – bagged their second gold medal at the Hangzhou Asian Games on Oct 3, triumphing in the women's kayak four 500 meters event.
Team member Wang Nan, who comes from Qingyuan county in Lishui city in East China's Zhejiang province, enjoyed strong support from her family and friends who came to watch her race.
This was Wang Nan's second gold medal at the ongoing Asian Games after she won the women's kayak 500 meters doubles on Oct 2.
Her uncle Lian Zhengcai said that they were immensely proud of her achievements and hoped that she would continue to bring glory to her country and hometown.
Wang Nan also received warm congratulations from her fellow Qingyuan residents, who hailed her as a role model and an inspiration for more sporting talent to emerge in their county.
