Lishui city in East China's Zhejiang province has launched a series of activities to enrich the lives of the people, create a distinctive city event brand, and create a festive atmosphere for the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays on Sept 29-Oct 6.

The activities began on Sept 25 and will last until Oct 30. They will revolve around food, tourism, shopping and entertainment.

A large food fair titled "Eat in Lishui" will be held in the Chuzhoufucheng scenic area, featuring local specialty snacks and agricultural products. A provincial poultry dish challenge and a game food interactive challenge will also be held to showcase the Lishui flavor.

A tour called "Play in Lishui" will be held in the Guyan Huaxiang scenic area, where visitors can enjoy folk performances, cultural exhibitions and scenic views. A "Stay in Hotel and Give Away Tickets" experience activity will also be launched, offering free or discounted tickets to scenic spots for hotel guests. In addition, a preferential package special sale live broadcast will be held on various platforms to promote cultural tourism products.

An auto show called "Buy in Lishui" will also be held, featuring various brands and models of cars, as well as preferential policies and coupons for car buyers. A shopping plaza activity will also be held, integrating online and in-person consumption promotion activities.

In addition, a performance extravaganza called "Entertainment in Lishui" will be held in the Oujiang Wenyuan Museum, where children, harmonica players and folk groups will perform. A lawn concert will be held in Lianghu Park, where young bands will play electronic music.

A water play season will also be held in Nanming Lake, where visitors can enjoy banana boats, water sofas, kayaks, paddle boards and other water-related activities. Meanwhile, a family tour will be held along the Oujiang River, where visitors can participate in kite DIY activities, visit an artificial beach, interact with a clown, camp out and more.
