Lishui celebrates Asian Games torch relay

Lishui, a city in East China's Zhejiang province, held a torch relay for the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou on Sept 16.
The 8.4-km relay, which started from the municipal administrative center and ended at Binshui Park, featured 170 torchbearers from all walks of life.
During the event, cultural elements and sports like Jinyun Wuju Opera, Qingtian fish lanterns, aerobics, and youth roller skating were highlighted to the public.
At 11:17 am, the final torchbearer Wu Luyi, a Lishui native and a Tsinghua University student who holds the city's records for the men's 100 meters and 200 meters, arrived at the closing ceremony venue at Binshui Park and lit the cauldron.
The Hangzhou Asian Games torch will travel through Jinhua and Quzhou before returning to Hangzhou on Sept 20 for the last leg of the relay.
