Faces of the Games| Six Lishui athletes to compete in Hangzhou Asian Games
The full list of Chinese representatives for the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou was unveiled on Sept 12. A total of 1,329 people, including 886 athletes and 36 Olympic champions, will be participating.
Among the athletes are six natives of Lishui, a city in East China's Zhejiang province.
The Games will be held from Sept 23 to Oct 8.

Ke Jie, born in August 1997 in Liandu district, is one of the best Go players in the world. He is the winner of eight world championships and has been ranked first in the world Go ranking for 40 consecutive months.
Yu Junyan, born in 2001 in Liandu district, is a rising star in freestyle slalom skating. He has won three world championships and broken the world record twice.
Wang Nan, born in 2000 in Qingyuan county, has posted outstanding performances in various competitions, including a sixth place finish at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021 and winning the National Games in 2021. She will compete in the canoeing sprint double and four-person canoeing 500 meters events at the Asian Games.
Dong Xiya, born in 2001 in Liandu district, is a talented rower who will compete in the canoe sprint double and four-person canoeing 500 meters events with Wang Nan. She will also take part in the women's eight-person single scull with helmsman event.
Wang Jingsa, born in 2003 in Jingning She autonomous county, is a promising sailor who specializes in the mixed 470 class. She won two gold medals at the National Sailing Championship and qualified for the Asian Games by ranking first in China's mixed 470 class.

Liu Yaxin, born in 1999 in Longquan, a county-level city administered by Lishui, is a consistent performer in women's backstroke and has achieved outstanding results in various competitions, including a gold medal in the women's 200-meter backstroke at the Asian Games in 2018.
