Lishui development zone sees growth in foreign capital
The utilization of foreign capital in the Lishui Economic and Technological Development Zone in Lishui city in East China's Zhejiang province surged 606.25 percent year-on-year to hit $77.97 million in the first half of this year.
The zone has in recent years been attracting an increasing number of international investors with its favorable investment environment.
The zone has also received strong support and guidance from the provincial government, which recently gave Lishui the green light to carry out the pilot project of qualified foreign limited partner (QFLP).
The QFLP pilot can effectively activate capital, drive innovation and the industrial chain, and introduce not only foreign financial capital but also advanced management experience.
According to a zone official, the zone will continue to expand opening-up channels, increase foreign capital attraction, and introduce foreign capital industry funds to create a stable channel for foreign capital and achieve a foreign investment of over $100 million for the year.
