A colorful ethnic folk painting scroll depicting scenes from the She ethnic group's culture and their hopes for the upcoming Asian Games was donated to the Hangzhou Asian Games Museum on June 13.

The scroll, measuring 6 meters long and 80 centimeters wide, was created by 10 painters from Jingning She autonomous county in Lishui city, in East China's Zhejiang province. The artwork took them more than 40 days to complete.

The scroll showcases seven aspects of She people's life, such as traditional sports, ribbon-weaving, family banquet, dragon dance and harvest celebration. It also expresses their enthusiasm and support for the 19th Asian Games, which will commence in the province's capital Hangzhou in September.

The scroll is one of the 14 paintings made by artists from different ethnic groups in China to welcome the Asian Games. The scrolls will be exhibited at the museum to promote cultural diversity and exchange among different ethnic groups in China.
