Nearly 300 enthusiasts from different parts of China came to Lishui city, in East China's Zhejiang province, to take part in the first China Legend Challenge sports meet on June 11.

The challenge involved a combination of kayaking, cycling and running events. The contestants had to cover 25 kilometers in total, with 6 km of kayaking, 14 km of cycling and 5 km of running. They were grouped by age into 10 categories.

The contestants enjoyed the natural beauty of Lishui as they competed. The challenge took place along a scenic route that connected Nanming Lake and the Oujiang River Greenway.

Lishui has been hosting many national water sports events in recent years, such as canoeing, rowing and sailing. As a result, it has become known as China's most beautiful outdoor sports venue.

The person in charge of the city's sports center said that the challenge was to find a new way to promote Lishui's culture, tourism and economy. He said that they would continue to develop sports-related industries and make them a source of growth and prosperity.
