China's green development: From backseat to frontrunner
It is absurd for some Western media to criticize China for not doing enough to reduce carbon emissions, said Eric Solheim, former head of the United Nations Environment Programme.
Solheim said China is acting much more determinedly than any other country in the world in fighting climate change, and he hailed China as a world leader in best environmental practices, whether it is the use of renewable energy or electric vehicles.
