Jingning She autonomous county – administered by Lishui city in East China's Zhejiang province – is a natural resort and oxygen bar, with more than 60 percent of its villages over 600 meters above sea level, attracting hordes of tourists every summer.

Daji township there has an altitude of more than 1,000 meters. Its average summer temperature is about 25 C and the negative oxygen ion content per cubic centimeter can reach more than 35,000.

At present, Daji has 82 homestays and agritainment facilities on offer, which can provide more than 1,123 beds.

"Our rooms are booked until the end of August and are full almost every day this summer," said Lin Xiangcong, a homestay owner.

Lin said that because this summer is hotter than usual, the peak period for homestays has been advanced by about half a month. The beds used to be full around July 20, but this year it has been difficult to book a bed since July 5.

In addition to the prosperous homestay industry, Daji township is also developing a tourist package integrating research studies, modern agriculture sightseeing, fitness and sports, rural food and many other fun activities.
