The 2021 Tiankong Town Bringing Wisdom for Common Prosperity Conference & the China (Suichang) Digital Talent Development Summit was held in Suichang county – administered by the city of Lishui in East China's Zhejiang province – on Nov 5. 

More than 140 representatives, including academicians from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, as well as high-level talent and entrepreneurs, attended the event. They had in-depth and spirited discussions on the digital economy, digital talent, rural revitalization and common prosperity. 

Two industry-university-research projects were unveiled during the summit: the Suichang Collaborative Innovation Center for Metal Products R&D and Testing Engineers and the Suichang Xianxia Lake Academician Service Center. 

A document called the "China's County Digital Economy, Talent Cultivation Research Report" was also released.

In addition, a signing ceremony for digital economy talent entrepreneurship projects was held, involving the digital economy, intelligent equipment manufacturing, new energy, health tourism and many other fields. 

Later, a forum took place, promoting rural revitalization through the development of digital talent in mountainous areas and in the counties.
