Suncha Technology Co Ltd – which manufactures and distributes domestic bamboo and wood products – was listed on the main board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange on Aug 5.
Founded in 1995 – in Qingyuan county, administered by the prefecture-level city of Lishui in East China's Zhejiang province – it is a leading supplier of daily kitchen utensils.
It currently owns and operates three large processing centers – in Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang, as well as in Qingyuan county and in Longquan city, administered by Lishui.
Suncha Technology has reportedly been committed to the research and development, design, production and sales of daily kitchen utensils since the very beginning.
The bamboo and wood materials are processed with dedicated craftsmanship and the products are said to be widely recognized by the market. Annual sales of chopsticks total about 300 million sets and some 10 million cutting boards are sold each year, underlining the company's leading position in China's daily kitchenware industry.
The company has also tried to introduce creative excitement into its daily kitchenware ranges. Its chopsticks, for example, were used as gift sets for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, 2010 Shanghai World Expo and the 2016 G20 Hangzhou Summit.
