A new revolutionary memorial hall for the former residence of the Communist Party of China's Fujian and Zhejiang border committee – located in Cuishang village in Qingyuan county, Lishui, in East China's Zhejiang province – opened on June 21.
In the previous century Cuishang witnessed the activities of a dynamic guerrilla base in the area along the Fujian and Zhejiang border, with the village as its center.
The memorial hall is regarded as being a window to looking back at this period of China's history. It recounts the history of the Huangtian Revolution between 1927 and 1949 from multiple angles in the forms of texts, revolutionary objects and video materials.
The memorial hall has two floors, with the first floor as the prime exhibition area and the second floor being a public cultural area.
