Jinyun county in Lishui, East China's Zhejiang province, was included on the list of 120 county and county-level cities to carry out new urbanization demonstration work released by the National Development and Reform Commission recently.

New urbanization work is mainly organized to implement the major decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on the coordinated promotion of coronavirus epidemic prevention and control, and economic and social development, and to improve the capacity of counties in terms of public health, the living environment, public services, municipal facilities and industrial supporting facilities.

Based on the actual situation and urgent development needs, Jinyun will carry out public welfare projects to improve basic functions and meet public needs, and provide important support for the implementation of strategies to expand domestic demand and achieve new urbanization.
