Lishui Economic and Technological Development Zone in Zhejiang province recently carried out comprehensive reform, and established a unified and transparent online reporting, online approval and rigid payment mechanism for science and technology policy awards and subsidies.

According to officials, the development zone launched the "Lishui economic and technological development zone comprehensive management platform for science and technology business". The platform uses data sharing and other measures to reduce links, time and materials, and fully realize paperless policy declarations.

In the material review stage, online circulation approval is realized in the whole process, and the system pushes the backlog message to the enterprise in real time to avoid the delivery and waiting time for each link, thus greatly reducing audit time.

The development zone completed the first batch of 126 science and technology policy projects in 2019, benefiting 108 enterprises, with a total of 18.1 million yuan ($2.56 million) in fund payments, which will ease the problem of capital turnover for some enterprises caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
