Qingtian provides agent service for overseas Chinese amid pandemic
Qingtian, a county in Lishui famous for its long tradition of local people moving abroad to seek business opportunities, has further optimized its service for overseas Chinese under the current COVID-19 pandemic situation, according to local media.
To reduce the cross-border flow of personnel and make it convenient for overseas Chinese to handle affairs, Qingtian launched an agent service for overseas Chinese.
"During the epidemic, it makes it so convenient for us to solve an emergency while we are abroad," said Zhang Wei, an overseas Chinese in Spain. He expressed his thanks to Qingtian government for their timely agent service.
Zhang bought a house, but due to the epidemic it is difficult for him to return to Qingtian to handle the property transfer procedures. To this end, Qingtian administrative service center helped Zhang coordinate with the real estate registration center. Through online confirmation and evidence preservation, the center solved the problem that has been upsetting Zhang and his wife.
Statistics show that Qingtian has handled 1,464 overseas Chinese related matters since the launch of the agent service.
