Lishui in East China's Zhejiang province plans to support and help local tourism enterprises to handle difficulties brought about by the coronavirus outbreak through an array of measures, according to local media.

Lishui organizes and supports tourism enterprises to carry out marketing activities. For those participating in provincial and foreign tourism promotion activities organized by the municipal bureau of culture, tourism and sports, Lishui implements subsidy policies for special fees.

To support travel agencies to cope with business difficulties, Lishui is implementing a temporary refund policy of returning 80 percent of the travel agency's quality retention money. Also, Lishui is coordinating with insurance agencies to give priority to applications from travel agencies, star-rated hotels and other tourism enterprises.

At present, the city is making full use of its health code, big data and other technical means to strengthen the management and control of tourists in scenic spots and rural homestays.
