Works by Lishui photographers chosen for national photography exhibition
Entries chosen for the 27th National Photographic Art Exhibition were recently announced. Works from eight photographers born in Lishui, Zhejiang province were included.
Initiated in 1957 and hosted by the China Photographers Association, it is the largest and oldest national photography exhibition held by the association and has introduced more than 10,000 outstanding works to the public.
The eight Lishui-born photographers are mostly emerging artists who are relatively new to the field. Their works reflect deep concerns not only about individuals but also about society, according to the jury of the exhibition.
Here are some of select works by the photographers.
