Lishui Vocational and Technical College
Lishui Vocational and Technical College is a full-time comprehensive vocational college located in Lishui in East China's Zhejiang province. The school has a long history which stretches back to 1910.
The school covers an area of about 313,333 square meters. It has seven secondary schools of forestry technology, architecture and design, electrical and mechanical engineering, accounting, business administration, tourism and trade, continuing education and has 29 majors.
The school now has 7,681 full-time students and 447 faculty members, including 401 full-time teachers, 21 professors and 125 associate professors.
Currently, there are nine training centers, including three training bases supported by the central government and four provincial demonstration training bases. The total area of the teaching and training facilities is 168,300 sq m and the total value of the teaching and training equipment exceeds 60 million yuan ($8.42 million).
The school has made continuous efforts in rural revitalization, "large garden" construction, integration of agriculture and tourism, eco-industry and other projects.
In cooperation with the Institute of Japanese Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the school established a research center for Japanese rural studies.
In addition, to support in-depth promotion of the rural revitalization strategy in Lishui, the school established such platforms as the Lishui Farmers College, Lishui Vocational Education Group and Lishui Tourism and Health College.
