As DeepSeek gains prominence, the Chinagoods AI intelligent service platform in Yiwu county-level city in Jinhua, Zhejiang province, has started its integration with DeepSeek and subsequent localized deployment.
"The Xiaoshang AI Visual Creation application of the platform has now been integrated with DeepSeek and is accessible to all operators," said Lou Qinfeng, technical director at the Big Data Company of Zhejiang China Commodities City Group. The app allows operators to easily create product introduction videos in Chinese or English by presenting their products to the camera and providing relevant keywords or selecting suitable scenes.
Lou revealed plans to integrate DeepSeek into more than a dozen AI applications to enhance various trade processes, such as production design, display, and trade fulfillment, ultimately streamlining business operations for Yiwu merchants.
Yiwu has seen a swift adoption of AI technologies by its shop owners, ranging from multilingual digital merchants to AI-generated marketing materials.
On Feb 17, Fu Jiangyan, the owner of a sock shop in Yiwu International Trade Market, presented her products in English in a video. "This AI-generated video automatically generated words without me needing to voice them," explained Fu.
Many merchants, including Ren Xiaoling, the owner of a stationery store, have enrolled in an offline course on AI e-commerce. One of the sessions focuses on optimizing the use of DeepSeek for business purposes.
Ren has recently experimented with DeepSeek to explore this year's trends in cultural and creative products and to develop solutions for product introduction videos and promotional texts.
"The market changes so rapidly so we need to continuously embrace new technologies," Ren said. "AI applications like DeepSeek are just tools which we must learn to collaborate with effectively to extract their maximum value."
