Jinhua's Spring Festival tourism flourishes

Jinhua in Zhejiang province welcomed a bustling Spring Festival holiday, hosting a total of 4.746 million tourists, a 9.6 percent increase year-on-year, generating a comprehensive tourism revenue of 5.63 billion yuan ($772.88 million), according to the municipal bureau of culture, radio, television, and tourism.

During the holiday, popular attractions in Jinhua saw a continuous surge in visitor numbers starting from New Year's Eve. The recently opened tourism line linking key attractions like the Shuanglong Scenic Area and Wuzhou Ancient City provided enhanced convenience for tourists.

Among the standout destinations, the Hengdian World Studios drew attention for its great vibes. The Qing Ming Shang He Tu area in Hengdian captivated visitors with its lantern festival, with thousands of palace lanterns illuminating the night.

The Shuanglong Scenic Area also experienced a significant influx of visitors. Following its upgrade to a national 5A-level tourist attraction, the place offered various incentives and activities that attracted 310,900 visitors during the holiday period.

Throughout the city, a variety of cultural heritage exhibitions and experiential projects went on display, taking the festive ambiance to new levels.

Cultural activities grabbed the limelight, with over 500 cultural performances and exhibitions enthralling both residents and tourists, making the holiday a vibrant and culturally enriching time for everyone.
