The 3rd Zhejiang Food Day event was held at the Wuzhou Ancient City scenic area in Jinhua, Zhejiang province, on Jan 7, which also marked the beginning of the Spring Festival Food and Travel Consumption Season in Zhejiang.

Over 50 food stalls from across the province converged at the "Taste of Zhejiang" food market, offering a delectable array of New Year's specialties. Ranging from local traditional snacks to culinary creations, each bite left a lasting impression.

The event featured an interactive area on Jinhua's signature dishes like Jinhua ham and Liangtouwu pork, allowing visitors to take photos and appreciate the distinct charm of Jinhua cuisine up close.

The event unveiled 78 New Year's food consumption activities, including food markets, tasting sessions, and exploring food through a micro-drama.

Collaborating with catering businesses, the city will launch 175 initiatives, offering discounts, vouchers, promotions, and more to enhance the eating experience.

For the upcoming Spring Festival, Jinhua plans a range of activities focusing on New Year's products, customs, delicacies, and attractions, including 100 New Year's consumption activities, 1,000 cultural events, and 1,000 livestreaming sessions.

It will also distribute 12 million cultural and tourism spending vouchers in the first quarter, fostering a festive atmosphere and meeting the public's holiday consumption needs effectively.
