A professional skills workshop was held at Jinhua University of Vocational Technology in Jinhua, Zhejiang province, on Nov 21, where Chinese pharmacy students and international students explored traditional Chinese medicine.
Professor Diao Yinjun from the Pharmaceutical Engineering College delivered a lecture on preserving medical culture and explained the medicinal effects and properties of common traditional Chinese herbs.
In the laboratory, the college's research assistant team introduced homemade products and guided students in making zicaogao (an ointment made from Arnebia and other traditional Chinese herbs) and handmade soap. The international students expressed their amazement at doing practical lab work for the first time.
